We are hiring a Senior Marketing Copywriter (Norton, AVG, Avast) . This role can be based in Prague or Brno, it is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office.
About the Role
We’re looking for an accomplished Senior Copywriter who is passionate about creating best-in-class marketing content that attracts, engages, and retains customers. Because Gen has exciting new stories to tell about each of our award-winning brands, we need a tech-savvy creative to tell them. You’ll create data-driven, high-converting content across multiple platforms and marketing channels as you drive brand awareness and customer engagement. You’ll play a key role on our diverse and dynamic marketing design team. Most importantly, you’ll help keep our customers Cyber Safe.

What You’ll Do in This Role

  • Craft clear and compelling content for various marketing channels including web content, in-product communications, emails, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align on content strategy and implement successful solutions.
  • Drive A/B testing that illuminates customer preferences and provides actionable data.
  • Partner with the SEO team to provide copy that improves visibility and website traffic.
  • Transform business objectives into brand-strengthening content that drives engagement and delivers results.
  • Update content on a regular basis using feedback from stakeholders, colleagues, and customers.
  • Research industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis to inform and enhance content strategies.
  • Present and defend content strategy and solutions to internal and external audiences of all levels.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all copy as well as adherence to each brand’s style, voice, and tone.
  • Finalize content in consultation with the legal and localization teams.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • At least 5 years of experience writing and editing marketing copy, especially for web and technology environments.
  • Strong portfolio and/or writing samples demonstrating a range of winning content across a variety of media.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing strategies and deep experience in A/B testing.
  • Four-year degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
  • Proficiency in adapting writing styles to match different brand voices and target audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facility for working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across the organization and in multiple time zones.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with design, UX copy, and/or Figma is a plus.
