We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive (Email) to join our existing marketing team to plan, deliver and optimise email marketing activity across the full range of inspiresport businesses. As the UK’s leading provider of youth sport development tours, we deliver ‘best in class’ in every element of service and communication for our customers. The role will focus heavily on email marketing, CRM, database segmentation, and lifecycle management.

NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME IN THIS EXCITING DIGITAL FOCUSSED ROLE BUT ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU WILL:

  • Own email marketing, including content creation, email builds and templates, system management and optimisation, and have responsibility for the full marketing email calendar
  • Work with wider marketing teams to source/create/capture content that drives engagement across email campaigns
  • Build out email automation plans that will drive additional business
  • Own the AB testing plan for all email campaigns and audiences
  • Work with our internal teams to ensure that customer and prospect data is managed effectively, and is up-to-date, accurate, compliant and usable for all channel activity
  • Regularly undertake competitor analysis and feedback actionable insight into the wider marketing team
  • Collaborate with the performance marketing team to provide support for digital campaigns and ensure there is robust tracking, accurate reporting and evaluation in place for all marketing activity
  • Collaborate with our external partners to leverage agreed rights and opportunities for other marketing touchpoints, ensuring relevant approval processes are followed
  • Understand sports and travel industry market trends to provide creative idea generation towards inspiresport’s overall marketing strategy

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Be educated to degree level in a related subject e.g. marketing, media, or creative
  • Have marketing experience for a brand, agency, or sports organisation in a relevant/similar role
  • Have an understanding & keen interest in sports business and the travel industry
  • Have experience utilising creative software (not essential but preferred)
  • Have a curiosity for optimising activity, regardless of current performance level
  • Possess the desire to develop within the role & continue to learn new skills
  • Have strong copywriting skills & a sharp eye for detail
  • Have the ability to work independently & collaborate in a team setting
  • Have excellent writing & administration skills with a strong eye for detail
  • Have an understanding of the role of data and insight within a marketing function
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload while working on multiple projects
  • Possess strong Microsoft Office skills: especially with Excel, Word & Powerpoint
