Description:

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role and demonstrable experience in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge and passion about sports with a deep understanding of Australian sports codes (Rugby league, AFL, Netball, Cricket and Motorsport highly desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and experience writing succinct, clear briefs
  • Works well under pressure to deliver results whilst maintaining values
  • Experience in working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and influence stakeholders where required
  • Strong planning and organising skills, knowledge of ClickUp or similar project management programs is preferred
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly
  • Proactive mindset and ability to problem solve and able to understand the bigger picture of decisions across the wider organisation
  • Love for Entertainment or Sport - we’re big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer
  • Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (Marketing, Communications etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute sports marketing campaigns across the calendar year utilising owned and partner channels to deliver against key business objectives and align to the sports strategy
  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to maximise every campaign ensuring complete cross channel integration and proactively look at ad-hoc opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for writing briefs and roll out of creative assets and messaging.
  • Be the subject matter expert ensuring all teams are updated on upcoming sports priorities and own guidelines overseeing all sport approvals.
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to support planning, implementation and delivery of all sports campaigns utilising owned, paid, earned and partner channels.
