OVERVIEW

Join an award-winning marketing team on the CG TurboTax Referral & New Channels Team as a Senior Marketing Manager, where you will help craft the future of TurboTax and TurboTax Live! You will drive the development of the Referral and the New Channels Go To Market plans in a highly collaborative role to develop media strategies across Mobile, Video, CTV, WOM, Brand and Programmatic to deliver on fiscal year forecast targets for the new channels that launch this year! We’re looking for a forward thinking, self-starter, who has solid experience translating consumer insights into scalable marketing experiences. The Senior Marketing Manager will report to the Group Marketing Manager of Referral & New Channels, based in San Diego, CA.
This role is ideal for someone who is customer obsessed and is well-versed across performance and brand media. The Senior Marketing Marketing Manager will have a passion for channel marketing strategy, media planning and execution who thrives in an extremely fast-paced, agile, and matrixed team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for extreme ownership focused on performance outcomes to develop a marketing strategy that accelerates the growth of the TurboTax Portfolio against key market opportunities, key insights and fiscal year financial goals. Working in partnership with the Referral and New Channels Team
  • Leverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and channel analytics data to make investment recommendations across multiple online channels, create and present media plans, business forecasts and investment scenarios, ensuring agency and x-functional teams are briefed, have been provided business insights and season curves for GTM, and the resulting recommendations are assessed against business goals to ensure a winning strategy
  • Accountable for agency deployment of media and creative plans across channels, providing guidance on targeting, spend targets, bidding strategy, and ensuring publisher deliverables are clearly prioritized, articulated and actioned by the x-functional team in partnership with Channel Ops
  • Provide ongoing support across channels, and related work continuing to develop in-season plans and optimizations such as working with the creative team to identify creative insights that drive new creative opportunities and publisher innovation. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in driving projects in cross team coordination, campaign and creative launches, data and analytics requests, end of month budget reconciliation, and projects with outside vendors and agencies
  • Responsible for ownership of the Team workbooks to ensure team and agency stakeholders understand and execute media plans, related tech and creative, ongoing test plans, learnings and implications while ensuring all requests are prioritized with clear timelines and owners
