A Day in the Life
As the Senior Marketing Manager for CDS Western Europe, you will lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategies by influencing and collaborating with a diverse team, including product managers, market development managers, and country leaders. You will ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives, working in partnership with global and local teams.
Your role also involves driving the Western Europe marketing agenda, ensuring alignment with product, clinical, and market development strategies, while ensuring regional priorities are elevated on the global stage. In the position, you will report directly to the Business Director, Western Europe, being part of the extended global commercial marketing team.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead the strategic development and execution of the CDS marketing plan across Western Europe, in collaboration with product managers and market development managers.
- Define and promote the value proposition for the CDS portfolio, including LINQ, LINQ II with AI, and additional services, ensuring a strong co-positioning strategy across Western Europe.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure Western European needs are prioritized and represented within the broader global marketing agenda
- Work closely with medical affairs, clinical, and market access teams to drive customer engagement and remove barriers to market growth, especially in key areas like syncope, stroke, and AF management
- Build and connect an ecosystem strategy that links product initiatives with market development goals. This includes engaging stakeholders through society education, KOL (Key Opinion Leader) development, and awareness programs.
- Lead the training and education strategy with a focus on onboarding programs and continuous customer engagement, ensuring that the Western Europe market is well-equipped to promote and use CDS solutions.
- Develop and articulate pricing strategies, ensuring proper execution in the local markets. Gather customer feedback to inform future portfolio developments.
Required knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree with international experience in market development
- 10 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of experience in leading marketing strategies and influencing a multicultural team
- Fluency in English and availability to travel for approximately a 40% of working time
- Broad strategic marketing and sales background, with a proved success in leading and influencing a diverse team
- High interpersonal, influence and communication skills aimed at connecting people and ensuring strong collaboration and teamwork
- Willingness to engage in a high potential and disruptive business area, with passion to work in a fast-moving environment, eventually tolerating uncertainty
- A Strategically, pragmatic leadership personality with a strong customer focus
