Description:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Circa 10 years of marketing experience with over 5 years in B2B at a senior level.
- Proven demand generation experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the local Irish market, ideally with experience in the software and services sector targeting C-Suite and heads of key functions.
- Experience with HubSpot and other marketing automation systems.
- Experience with sales automation tools for intelligence gathering and to target buyers along the intent cycle (e.g. firmographics, Nexus insights, sales navigator etc).
- Knowledge and experience of Account Based marketing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Metrics and delivery focused, you’ll enjoy getting things done at pace and understanding how to measure and replicate success.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing individual, confident speaking with stakeholders at all levels.
- A drive to be successful with a focus on achieving targets and goals.
Responsibilities:
In this newly created position as Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll have a profound understanding of the Irish market landscape. You’ll spearhead the development and implementation of our marketing strategy tailored specifically for Ireland, with a primary emphasis on bolstering our new business pipeline in the region.
You’ll possess a proven track record in crafting and executing marketing initiatives that directly impact pipeline growth and revenue generation. Proficiency across all facets of marketing is essential, encompassing demand generation (including segmentation), proposition development, branding, communications, partner engagement, and operational efficiency. This role demands active involvement and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
Success in this position hinges on collaborative engagement with your marketing peers, the customer success team, wider sales teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive the creation of high-quality leads and opportunities for new business acquisition. Your contributions will be instrumental in expanding our pipeline and enhancing brand visibility, thereby facilitating our long-term business expansion objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing and measuring integrated demand generation marketing campaigns.
- Developing robust knowledge of all product lines / services, our existing customer base and the prospect market.
- Identifying opportunities within our existing client and prospect base by applying best practice marketing data tools to understand intent and the market opportunity. Applying market segmentation, competitor research and industry trend to prioritise marketing communications strategies, targeting’ audiences along their buying-journey.
- Driving commercial partnerships that will facilitate the growth of the pipeline.
- Identifying / defining content requirements and gaps, prioritising messaging to target personas, market segment and business size and complexity.
- Creating marketing material to support integrated communications and driving conversion. Communications, such as literature, blogs, surveys, LinkedIn targeted ads or social selling tools and email campaigns including nurture tracks, with clear call to action and metrics.
- Recommending, budgeting and planning for Zellis’ participation in exhibitions or speaking opportunities at relevant trade shows and industry events.
- Tracking allocated marketing budgets and expenses in an organised fashion, measuring customer acquisition cost and key marketing metrics against spend.
- Reporting weekly /monthly on the status of demand generation activities.
- Documenting and sharing lead / customer intelligence with relevant sales teams.
- Working with marketing colleagues and the sales teams to promote all marketing activities efficiently to external audiences, ensuring the Internal Communications team are kept abreast of key marketing campaigns especially where colleague interaction with campaigns can help drive awareness as widely as possible.
