ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Imperial College London as a Senior Marketing Officer (Postgraduate)! Be at the forefront of attracting the brightest STEM postgraduate students to a university ranked second globally by QS. You will lead innovative cross-platform marketing and advertising campaigns, collaborating with Content, Digital and Faculty Marketing and CRM teams to target, engage, and convert prospective students. This data-driven role is your opportunity to shape impactful marketing strategies and help us grow a diverse postgraduate community.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

As our Senior Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our annual postgraduate marketing and advertising campaigns. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager (Campaigns and CRM), guiding the creation and management of campaign briefs that provide clear targeting, messaging, and performance targets that will be shared across the Marketing team. Your collaboration will ensure a seamless and multi-channel approach to attracting and nurturing postgraduate students through their admissions journey.
You’ll be in charge of delivering global lead-generation advertising campaigns, working alongside our media agency to boost our pipeline of global prospective students. To drive student engagement and conversion, your creative input will be crucial in developing compelling marketing content, such as landing page and advertising copy and email nurturing campaigns.
A data-first mindset is essential, as you’ll analyse campaign performance, using metrics to refine and optimise our strategies.
Additionally, you’ll manage a Marketing Assistant, oversee budgets, and work with various internal teams to ensure our campaigns align with Imperial’s strategic priorities and brand positioning and achieve a high return on investment.
