Job Overview
Twinkl is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to strategically align our marketing teams across the company and ensure operational efficiency and scalability. This role is pivotal in developing audience-led, data-driven marketing plans and calendars, enabling the prioritisation of high-impact initiatives that align with our strategic objectives. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the strategic orchestration and operational efficiency of all marketing efforts globally, optimising marketing processes, workflows, and implementing technology and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing operations, project management, integrated campaign execution, marketing technology and collaborating with internal and external creative agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the alignment and collaboration of all marketing teams across the globe. Working with regional and functional marketing leaders, you’ll ensure marketing plans are audience-driven and seamlessly integrate with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Own the development and management of marketing calendars, encompassing global campaigns, always on content plans, automated tactics and A/B testing initiatives.
  • Define and implement a strategic planning methodology with clear cycles that involve the relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent development and alignment.
  • Identify high-impact marketing initiatives, prioritising them based on strategic alignment and potential return on investment.
  • Project-manage integrated marketing campaigns across all relevant stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution and maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate strategic goals into actionable campaign strategies. This involves coordinating stakeholders, supporting crafting marketing briefs, and overseeing the development of campaign assets.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive marketing and campaign reports, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Build campaign frameworks that can be used by all global marketing teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture, encouraging the sharing of best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Optimise marketing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability across global teams.
  • Implement and manage marketing technologies and tools to support campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for marketing operations, ensuring consistency and quality across all campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Facilitate regular training and development sessions for marketing teams to ensure they are equipped with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in marketing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in all marketing activities and data management.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in marketing operations, planning and project management, in a global or multi-national organisation.
  • Extensive experience in prioritising marketing campaigns and activations across the funnel and developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical acumen to evaluate complex systems and dissect problems.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and have a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge.
