In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The Material Controller is responsible for all material movement activities occuring within a warehousing environment. In addition, the role holder will support daily activities to ensure Logistical and Inventory targets are met and support improvement activities in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities will include:

All Warehouse Operator Duties in addition to:

  • Achieving targets as specified within the logistics department set by management
  • Run daily cycle count reports against the monthly calendar to maintain the 99% accuracy including stock takes as when required
  • To be self-disciplined team player and train others
  • Understand and adhere to product preservation standards to ensure parts are stored and handled safely
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered
  • Establish and maintain a clean professional working environment
  • Willingness to participate in improvement activities across the business
  • General warehouse duties as and when required
  • General driving duties as and when required
