ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. We are searching for a self-motivated senior mechanical engineer with a proven record of excellent project delivery to lead a number of company projects within the Food and Process Equipment Industry.
Responsibilities will include working alongside other professionals to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with external stakeholders, attending meetings, using AutoCAD Inventor software to produce detailed designs, ensuring all projects remain within budgetary and time constraints.
To be successful as a senior mechanical engineer, you should keep abreast of developments in your field and outside of your discipline. Exceptional senior mechanical engineers should constantly be upskilling themselves, and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications, registrations, and licenses desired
• Experience in the food, beverage, or pharma industries is a must
• Extensive experience working on engineering projects.
• Experience on AutoCAD Inventor
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.
• Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time.
• Allocating resources and time effectively.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
