Description:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in offshore equipment maintenance and certification to oversee repair, testing, and procedural development for riser pull-in systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing repair of older offshore riser pull in winch
- Test of equipment with DNV
- Follow-up on repair of wire blocks and carpenter stoppers
- Participate in sub-surface interface
- Assist in approval of NOV-crane for re-installation
- Create installation procedures
- Create lifting procedures
- Create contingency procedures for riser pull in collaboration with Equinor
- Collaborate with DNV for final approval
Qualifications:
- Familiar with DNV standards and regulations for offshore equipment
- Ability to develop detailed installation, lifting, and contingency procedures.
Strong skills in project oversight, progress tracking, and deadline managementProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, to ensure procedural compliance and certification.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 7-12 years of experience as mechanical engineer
- Experience as package responsible engineer
- Experience with lifting equipment and winches
Education:
- Bachelor or masters degree in mechanical engineering

Planned end date: 31/12/2026
The candidate can work from Haugesund, Bergen or Stavanger.
