Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning (resources and fees).
  • Conceptual design studies and reports
  • Assuming a lead role liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the mechanical requirements and the mechanical discipline’s influence on all others.
  • Design of Mechanical Services and Installations (from initial concept stage to handover), including brief development and MEP strategies/(low-carbon) solutions.
  • Compilation of Design Drawings & Specifications for Mechanical Services.
  • Ensuring full co-ordination between specifications and drawings.
  • Cost estimating, procurement & cost control.
  • Assuming a lead role in with the supply chain and contractors to co-ordinate the successful delivery of the MEP installations.
  • Site Installation inspections and Progress reporting
