As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Building Services team, you’ll be a vital part of a team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to in a sustainable manner. Your role will include:

  • Have a passion for working on significant innovative, energy efficient and sustainable projects.
  • Apply your engineering management experience to lead and deliver multidisciplinary projects within the buildings team.
  • Focus on and be competent in undertaking engineering design and reviews within a building services environment, and the preparation of presentation and reports.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise and advice.
  • Have a strong knowledge of local engineering standards & codes of practice and be able to develop energy efficient HVAC systems as team and in a range of sectors
  • Prepare and review drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Enjoy interfacing and collaborating with clients and colleagues alike to achieve industry leading project outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in sustainable design to contribute to innovative solutions.

You will bring your skills and experience in similar Architecture roles. Specifically:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering design within the Building Services sector
  • Project expertise in Residential, Commercial, Health, Education, Sports and entertainment and Data Centre sectors
  • Understanding of industry leading software’s such as REVIT (ideal) and IES
  • Skills in design, documentation, heat load calculation, and coordination
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Proven record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Positive and proactive work attitude
