- Assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers, to aid the development of business, resolution of technical and delivery issues, and such that the customer is fully briefed and informed of progress
- Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
- Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process
- Produce, review and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports as assigned
- Maintaining the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout design lifecycl

THE ROLE
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This opportunity will involve working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer as part of a JV team on the Nuclear Technical Support Provider (NTSP) framework. This 7 year framework, with the option of a further 3 years, will deliver specialist nuclear technical services valued between £250-million to £400-million to support DIO, Navy Command and other MOD organisations.
The framework will support the Clyde Infrastructure Programme (CIP) and wider Royal Navy and defence requirements. Its primary focus will be on delivering the refurbishment and upgrade of critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
