Description:
Pure instant power. Anywhere. We have created the world’s most advanced portable power supplies, bringing freedom to the way our customers work. With you we want to shape a world where advanced technology meets environmental responsibility and create lasting impact. We are working from all over Europe and the US, whether onsite, hybrid or fully remote. Driven by our curiosity and the desire to leave tomorrow’s world cleaner than we found it yesterday. Join us in transitioning away from combustion generators to a cleaner alternative for fast, measurable, and real outcomes. What we’ve achieved so far is just the beginning:
At Instagrid you are part of the green-tech revolution by innovating the future of portable power supplies, helping professional workers worldwide stepping away from combustion generators and making it possible for them to experience a safe, efficient, clean and silent energy solution. You are excited towards finding the right mechanical solution in a creative way, can implement it constructively and had the chance to gain experience with Li-Ion Batteries? Then you are ready to shape the mobile power supply of the future!
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer (f/m/d) you will contribute to the development of our innovative battery technology by
- designing mechanical solutions for our products and ensuring functionality, manufacturability and compliance with specifications in an early stage.
- investigating the mechanical behavior of components with the help of common simulation tools.
- planning tests and validations and supporting their execution with your expertise.
- finding creative solutions for complex mechanical issues by using your experience in development and industrialization of consumer products.
- acting proactively as a point of contact for internal and external interfaces
- You have a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable education.
- You already have 5+ years of experience in the mechanical development of consumer products.
- You are qualified in using 3D design programs (ideally SolidWorks).
- Ideally, you are familiar with simulations (e.g. CFD, FEM) and/or have knowledge of Lilon battery development.
- You have very good English skills. German skills would be a plus.
