Join us in this role where you’ll be engaged with operation, maintenance, and development projects for various mechanical systems on all our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants in Denmark. You’ll have a wide interface with large parts of our organisation and gain an insight into how we operate our CHP plants and ensure sustainable operations. Responsibilities:
YOU’LL PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN:
- serving as one of our mechanical specialists, utilizing your extensive expertise and knowledge to support the operation and maintenance of all our bio-fired CHP plants in Denmark
- providing service minded expertise for various mechanical systems, such as steam turbines, pumps, fans, pressurized equipment, combustion systems, district heating and cooling, Carbon Capture plants
- defining, leading and executing maintenance and development projects, both as a mechanical specialist and as a project manager
- providing operational support, including analysing and detecting technical errors using various monitoring equipment and operational data
- optimising and improving energy systems in terms of safety, efficiency, reliability, and availability
- developing new processes and technologies to support the green energy transition and ensure our bio-fired CHP plants remain attractive to our customers.
TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU:
- have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, a degree as a marine engineer or equivalent
- possess extensive experience in the power plant industry with high theoretical and practical knowledge of various mechanical systems within your area of expertise
- can demonstrate a robust knowledge of thermodynamics and/or mechanics with a proven ability to communicate technical suggestions and proposals clearly
- are proficient in project management disciplines, including budget management, time scheduling, technical solutions, and team communication
- have analytical and systematic skills to solve complex issues and work purposefully on tasks both alone and in teams
- communicate effectively in Danish and/or English.
