About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for robots. In your day-to-day work, you’ll be responsible for component selection, electrical integration of sensors and payloads, as well as developing and testing prototypes to optimise system performance and transition to production.
Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.

• Define requirements and design electrical systems for the overall system design and development of unmanned ground vehicles
• Select and qualify components as part of component and supplier qualification
• Implement electrical integration for sensors and payloads within our portfolio companies systems
• Build and test prototypes to ensure validation during the prototype development and testing phase
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and systems teams for seamless integration and development
• Create and maintain technical documentation while assisting with necessary certifications

Your Profile

• A minimum of 5 years experience in mechatronics or electrical engineering, preferably within robotics
• Strong expertise in electrical system design and component qualification
• Proven ability to solve complex problems both independently and within teams
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
