Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implement communications strategies and plans
- Identifying and delivering on proactive storytelling opportunities
- Building great relationships with media outlets
- Positioning Auckland Transport as an organisation that puts its customers first as it works to transform Auckland’s transport system
- Providing best practice media and communications advice to business units and communications colleagues across Auckland Transport and our partner agencies
- Supporting with crisis and emergency management communication
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Communications or Journalism is desired but not essential
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant communications advisory role or 5 years’ experience as a reporter in a media organisatio
