Senior Medical Officer (Persistent Pain - Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine)

Permanent Part-Time position, 26.4 hrs p.f.Remuneration up to $147,515 p.a.
We are looking for an exceptional Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine consultant to join our growing Persistent Pain Management Services department within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

SCHHS SALARY INCLUDES:

• Base salary comprising of between
• $100.77 - $127.77 p.h.
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
• L18 - L24 $21,000 p.a.
• L25 - L27 $25,500 p.a.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

• You may be eligible to receive $10,000 (less tax) on the first available pay period (pro-rata rate for part-time employees will apply)

The Sunshine Coast Persistent Pain Management Service supports patients with persistent pain to self-manage their disease and improve their quality of life by providing multidisciplinary specialist input as well as provide individual and group programs with an emphasis on collaboration with the primary care provider. The service has a strong focus on restoration of function and a rehabilitation approach.
This position will require specialist skills in the areas of Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
