ABOUT US

South West Healthcare’s Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service for young people aged 0-25yrs and their families. With three embedded specialist streams: Infant Child and Family for 0-11 years old, and the Youth Streams for 12–25-year-olds consisting of the intake and short-term intervention and ongoing care streams.

Responsibilities:

Our Youth team is seeking a passionate and dedicated clinician to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinical specialists. As we work together to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for youth aged 12-25.
Our Senior Mental Health Clinicians are responsible to ensure the provision of evidence informed and developmentally appropriate treatment, care and support, in partnership with community-based services, primary health providers and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector Youths aged 12-25 and their families.

The role requires you to use your clinical skills to provide:

  • Evidence based assessment.
  • Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
  • Primary and Secondary Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners including General Practitioners, Paediatricians,
  • Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.

This position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $10,000.
