In this role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to rotate across various teams including the Memory Clinic, CMHT, and HTT, soaking up a wealth of diverse experiences along the way. You’ll take the reins in managing your own caseload while collaborating closely with colleagues from both statutory and voluntary sectors, all while lending your expertise to shape the future of our service.
Get ready to explore areas of special interest, whether it’s working closely with carers or making a difference in the lives of Younger People with Dementia. Plus, you’ll have a hand in delivering engaging training sessions, diving into educational programs, and even dipping your toes into audit and research initiatives.
Based at Nicholson House in Maidenhead, your days will be filled with meaningful visits to clients in their homes within the local community. Y ou ’ll need to have a car to travel to your appointments.
And while we mostly catch-up virtual ly , occasional in-person team meetings, training sessions, or other service-related gatherings may take place at our office base .
Undertaking Memory assessments of patients and conduct semi-structured interviews with family members and others involved in a patient’s care .
Us ing Memory assessment cognitive tests
Assess ing current risks and identify how the risk and patient health needs would be best met .
Promot ing and develop ing evidence – based practice working within NICE guidelines .
Collaborat ing with members of the integrated Older Adults Mental health team to provide advice and support where required .
Supervis ing junior staff and students .

Responsibilities:
- Registered Mental Health nurse or equivalent.
- Experience of working within an integrated multi-disciplinary environment .
- Ability to drive and have a car for use at work
