MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Carrick Integrated Community Mental Health team is a progressive and recovery focused team with a strong emphasis on facilitating high quality, effective and evidence-based interventions with people who experience severe and enduring mental illness. We are a team of highly motivated and supportive professionals who work to ensure we empower individuals to independently manage their own mental wellbeing.
We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner who is a confident and motivated practitioner with excellent communication skills who has a professional background in mental health nursing; you will demonstrate clinical practice that is consistent with the vision and values of Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. You will have experience, or will be looking for experience, in working independently in a community mental health setting; you will be able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As an Integrated Community Mental Health Team member, you will have both a positive outlook and sense of humour to manage the challenges of working in a busy locality that extends to seaside towns and rural locations. You will have knowledge of general mental health problems, and the impact this may have on individuals and their treatment.
