Join our team as a Senior Motor Control Engineer (m/f/d) where you will be at the forefront of innovation, developing and optimizing advanced motor control systems that power our next generation products. In this role, you will use your extensive expertise in motor control algorithms, embedded systems and power electronics to develop solutions that will exceed standards for performance, efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities:
- Design, optimization and implementation advanced motor control algorithms, including Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and Direct Torque Control (DTC)
- Utilization of MATLAB/Simulink for system modelling and control validation
- Development and implementation of innovative methods to enhance motor control performance in the end application
- Identification and resoling of complex motor control issues during development and deployment phases
- Ensure motor control systems adhere to safety standards and industry regulations
- Conduct system-level tests to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
- Fine-tune control loops (speed, torque, position) to meet specific application requirements
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to achieve cohesive system designs
