Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Azure Engineer with a strong background in SharePoint and Azure technologies. This position will provide critical technical support during the migration of SharePoint applications from SP2010 to SP2013 while also integrating Azure cloud services and solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Azure Active Directory, leveraging cloud services, and working with modern security standards such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure, improve productivity, and enhance solution quality is key in this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline (an advanced degree is preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development, .NET, HTML5, CSS3, REST/WCF technologies, and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer Workflows, Visual Studio Workflows, Infopath, JQuery, AJAX, REST, CSOM, JSOM, Master Pages, Page Layouts, Branding, HTML, CSS.
  • Expertise in SharePoint Custom Solution Development (Farm and Sandbox solutions), SharePoint Web Parts, Application Pages, Event Receivers.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, PowerShell, C#, SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2014), and debugging/troubleshooting in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with Azure Active Directory and integrating cloud-based solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience with Active Directory, ADFS 3.0, Azure Active Directory, RSA integration, and cloud security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and modern authentication methods integrating with Azure AD and cloud-based identity platforms.

Travel:
Minimal travel to Baltimore, MD (less than 10% of time)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and resolution for multiple SharePoint applications during the migration from SP2010 to SP2013, integrating with Azure cloud services.
  • Communicate the implications of design decisions, technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements to business and IT leadership.
  • Implement Azure Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other security standards across SharePoint and Azure applications.
  • Collaborate with Performance Engineering, Web, and Infrastructure Technology teams to define and optimize deployment architecture in an Azure environment.
  • Lead and participate in production troubleshooting and “War Room” activities, particularly in relation to Azure services.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance productivity, improve time-to-market, and increase the quality and cost-effectiveness of solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
  • Engage in knowledge-sharing and adopt best practices for Azure development and integration with SharePoint.
  • Exhibit a high level of professional flexibility, actively contributing innovative ideas and solutions, especially around Azure technology adoption and integration.
