The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience with Network administration
- 5+ years of experience with routing principles (RIP, OSPF, VPN, IPSEC, Static Routing, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with network devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- 5+ years of experience in Virtual Links/VLANs for data routing within a network
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services.
- Leads and organizes the creation and documentation of network designs.
- Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques.
- Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages.
- Leads the maintenance of network systems.
- Develops and implements cost control action plans based upon review of internal and sourced infrastructure.
- Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects.
