Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and manage end-to-end network architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure cloud environments, private cloud, VMware, datacenter, bare-metal network devices, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role is crucial for supporting our AI, data, and software engineering initiatives by ensuring a robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Architecture:
• Design and develop comprehensive network architecture to support AI, data, and software engineering requirements.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation for Azure cloud environments, private clouds, VMware infrastructure, datacenters, bare-metal network devices, Docker, and AKS.
• Develop and implement strategies for network integration, optimization, and security, focusing on AI and data-intensive applications.
• Implementation and Management:
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud network resources, including virtual networks, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
• Oversee the implementation and management of private cloud and VMware environments.
• Ensure efficient operation of datacenter networks and bare-metal devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them using AKS.
• Performance and Security:
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Ensure network security by implementing best practices and security protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks, particularly for AI and data applications.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with IT, AI, data, and software engineering teams to understand network requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Provide expert-level support for network-related issues and incidents.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technology, with a focus on AI and data-driven technologies.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Develop and deliver training materials to educate staff on network architecture and best practices.

Requirements :

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments, private clouds, VMware, datacenters, bare-metal network devices, Docker, and AKS.
• Proficiency in designing and managing complex network architectures.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network security practices and technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization and AKS orchestration.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Understanding of network monitoring and management tools.
