POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Cyber Analytics practice is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer will lead technical teams to research, design, and implement network-wide communications solutions and support solutions between multiple platforms. You will integrate LAN/MAN/WAN service arrangements with telecommunications providers and conduct system security audits. Coordination with senior management, engineers, other contractors, and vendors is necessary to ensure positive working relationships and mission success.
MINIMUM BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CREDENTIALS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer/Information Security, Network Administration, or other related discipline, or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- 8 years of experience designing/architecting and supporting Cisco and Linux enterprise systems.
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing LANs, providing testing/troubleshooting and change management.
- 5 years of experience guiding and operating network management and control systems to maintain LAN hardware and software.
- Experience working with operating systems and protocols (e.g., Cisco IOS, Linux routing technologies, OSPF/BFP, VMWare virtualization, etc.)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent certification is preferred
