Description:
HOW WILL I HELP?
The Senior Network Engineer is crucial for delivering expert technical services related to the development, design, and operation of high-performance technology infrastructure for the Westpac Group. This role integrates operations and project responsibilities, focusing on domestic and international networks leveraging Cisco SD-WAN and SDA Campus Network Architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Network Management: Oversee both domestic (branches and corporate sites) and international networks. Engage in the Branch Network Transformation Evergreen Program, including the refresh of branch networks and equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers as needed.
- Project Execution: Complete project deliverables and manage change implementations efficiently.
- Hybrid Work: Maintain a hybrid working arrangement, with some office presence for team activities and on-site troubleshooting as required.
- Infrastructure Provisioning: Manage the provisioning of new and existing switching infrastructure, address “End of Life” risks, and oversee capacity management across corporate, branch, and international centers.
- On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call roster as needed.
