As a Senior Network Technology Support, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the AT&T UNIX operating systems and all related systems or software on HPE and DELL servers and 24/7 production support.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware/software and applications software and ensures scalability and appropriate integration with other systems.
  • Detects, diagnoses, and reports UNIX related problems. Responsible for backup or recovery procedures.
  • Provides technical project management oversight during installations.
  • Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Installs and monitors security auditing software and remediates defects based on ASPR policies.
  • Configures and extends vendor software to deliver Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for internal customers to meet departmental or enterprise business needs in addition to providing extended support as needed.
  • Collaborates with vendors on ECM product capabilities and improvements needed to meet ATT requirements.

Required Experience:

  • 3 + years’ experience.
  • 3 + years’ experience: Unix – Redhat; SeSu Linux, UBUNTU, CentOS, VMWare
  • 3 + years’ experience: DELL, HPE DLs, HPE c7000, vCenter Mgmt, ESXi host mgmt.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelors’ of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

Our Senior Network Technology Support earns between $94,300 - $158,400 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
