SENIOR NODE.JS DEVELOPER
Location: West Midlands / Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
Job Type: Full-Time - Perm
We are currently supporting a leading iGaming company who is looking for a Senior Node.js Programmer to build scalable, high-performance applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Integrate server-side logic with front-end components.
- Optimise performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, efficient code and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer.
- Strong JavaScript and Node.js framework skills (Express, Koa).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Git and agile teamwork.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity in containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- An understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
