W HY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE:

This role is very important to the business. Based on the requirement, NPD will work with customers for solutions to their challenges and build relationships with Customer NPD teams / Developers and decision makers.

K EY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

Actively experiment with new approaches and methods and document the research process. Lead the development and commercialization stages of the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring innovative new products will make our portfolio while bringing competitive advantages. Work closely with our sales and the customers to develop products appropriate for their application with consideration for their manufacturing lines. Ensure prototypes are developed with required functionality according to supplied information and within Ornua turn-around time parameters and to requested timetables when appropriate. Ensure all product testing meets analytical, application and functional performance per customer requirements. Continually investigate new ingredients, technologies, and equipment for producing, safe, high-quality food products more cost-efficiently Conduct ongoing sensory/organoleptic analyses of Ornua products as required. Conduct challenge studies and shelf-life studies where appropriate on new products. Organize and execute customer presentations and trade shows. Be on-site as needed to explain usage and show examples of products, applications, and capabilities. Work with the R&D team to always maintain a clean and orderly lab. Proactively research market trends and develop new applications/concepts for use of Ornua cheese.
