DESCRIPTION

The Senior Nuclear Medicine technologist performs all duties of a Nuclear Medicine technologist with expanded responsibilities and knowledge of advanced Nuclear Medicine, SPECT CT, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Radiopharmaceutical Therapies and Theranostics. In addition, the Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work closely with the radiologists, other modalities, inpatient and outpatient ancillary departments, and will serve as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine
• Coursework/Training: Training at approved Nuclear Medicine program
• Coursework/Training: Must maintain required continuing education
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire or
• National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine technologist in a hospital setting and/or Imaging Center.
