Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiographer to join our multidisciplinary team. Please note this is a fixed-term contract of 12 months, with planned start date in June/2025.
The department is spread across two sites: Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. The successful candidate will participate in the site rotation currently in operation (Monday to Saturday).
The trust wide PET/CT service is based at Charing Cross Hospital. We have a busy PET/CT service, which includes 18F-FDG, 68Ga-Dotatate, 68Ga-PSMA, 18F-Choline, 18F-Amyloid studies and numerous research studies using a variety of radioisotopes.
Two SPECT/CT cameras are available at Hammersmith. A wide range of examinations and therapies are undertaken including Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, DAT scan imaging, GFRs and 177Lutetium, SIRTeX and Therasphere therapies.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and perform clinical Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and laboratorial procedures whilst providing a high level of patient care.
