Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated, Registered Nurse to join our Senior Nurse Management team. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership and professional support to nursing teams within a designated portfolio within the Unscheduled Care Directorate. Working as part of the multi- disciplinary team supporting patient pathways to optimise patient care and experience, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will need to be an effective communicator and work collaboratively with their multi-disciplinary colleagues across the Health Board and Local Authority to maintain a high standard of efficient and effective care, professionalism, and service delivery.
The post holder will support the wider senior nursing team, to deliver and monitor the nursing and quality strategies. Providing visible clinical & professional leadership to staff, in order to ensure that service, quality and performance objectives are achieved. Focusing on a nursing service that priorities the care needs of patients and embodies the principles of prudent healthcare.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
