Description:
Job Purpose: The post holder is responsible for delivering and supervising high-quality primary care and nursing services to eligible staff members and their dependants. The role emphasizes supervising routine health surveillance, pre-employment medical examinations, effective management of chronic conditions and health promotion activities. The nurse will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to address any healthcare needs of patients, ensure staff meet fitness standards and appropriately refer patients to medical teams for further evaluation. Additionally, the nurse must be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services as needed ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or Diploma in Nursing, DHA license as RN
BLS and ACLS
EXPERIENCE:
Emergency Response nurse: Minimum of 8 years nursing experience/ with Minimum of 4 years field emergency response nursing.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Strong clinical skills with in-depth knowledge of first response procedures, routine healthcare practices, and emergency protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to lead diverse teams, facilitate collaboration, and provide clear instructions.
Capability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise critical thinking with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies to ensure compliance and best practices in patient care.
