As a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group (THRF Group), THRF Group – Stroke and Parkinson’s are seeking a client centred Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Allied Health team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Allied Health Team Lead, key responsibilities include:
- Provide Occupational Therapy (OT) assessments, interpret findings, formulate and implement OT intervention plans in collaboration with clients, primary support people and other clinicians.
- Promote health and wellness solutions and support optimal mental and physical outcomes for all clients.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to team of OT’s.
- Increase awareness and understanding of the condition for people living with Parkinson’s, Stroke or another neurological/movement disorder, their family members, health professionals and the wider community.
- Connecting with consumers, families, support coordinators to maximise client outcomes.
