Description:

Personal Banking department oversees debit and credit card operations, and provides back office support to the Bank’s branches. The department implements Personal Banking development strategy and provides high quality of Banking service to individual customers in the local market. As a Senior Officer - Marketing & Channel, you will be responsible for assisting the development and delivery of products and services to Banking customers. You will explore and analyse the Personal Banking market in alignment with the Bank’s strategy. You will also assist with planning and implementing marketing strategy, managing projects for new products developments and establishing related policies and procedures. This is a full time permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree educated preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or other equivalent
  • Proven track record in similar business stream
  • Experience in drafting new product policies and procedures
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and operate under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing marketing strategies across Banking department and Branches with a focus on Personal Banking’s target market
  • Monitor products’ performance, understanding the target customer profile and how this is changing, and assist in developing new products and improving current product portfolio to meet customer expectations
  • Plan and implement promotion for Personal Banking products
  • Analyse internal and external data and deliver the Bank’s sales and distribution strategy; translate it effectively to Branch network to gain and retain customers. Build a long-term value relationship with customers offering choice and meeting varying demands and expectations
  • Undertake market research and monitor the industry developments; present the findings to Head of Department
  • Assist the Head of Department by monitoring the performance of the Banking department and Branches and act as a coordinator between the branches, Banking department and other departments
  • Ensure Banking department and Branches comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures
  • Support with system troubleshooting and other business related issues that the Banking department and Branches encounter
  • Promote cross-selling opportunities within other business departments across the Bank
  • Liaise with IT department and Head Office to improve Personal Banking systems
  • Deal with customer queries where required
