Qualification and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in the consulting/banking/financial sector, preferably in risk management in a ManCo
  • University Degree (finance, economics, business administration, mathematics or another quantitative field).
  • Professional certifications (FRM, EFA, CAIA, CFA…) will be appreciated
  • Good understanding of financial markets and risk management, and knowledge of professional risk management systems, measures & models and best market practice
  • Knowledge of UCITS
  • Excellent practical knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and VBA programming

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Proactive and self-organized, positive, dynamic
  • Constant focus on quality and client service,

Responsibilities:

The Senior Officer Risk will primarily cope with risk related tasks in relation to our AIFMD fund business to ensure compliance with the regulatory and internal guidelines, to identify, monitor and report on an ongoing basis all risks related to our funds.

The Senior Officer Risk will perform the daily business tasks in accordance with the current practice, assist in project-related tasks and deal with special requests. The goal is to ensure a high quality across the whole risk measurement process and to identify, report and implement areas for improvement with respect to the quality continuously.

  • Supporting in the implementation of the risk management framework for AIFs according to CSSF circular 18/698;
  • Monitoring during the fund onboarding that investment policies comply with the risk management requirements for AIFs regulations;
  • Setting and monitoring any changes to AIFs risk profiles, including regulatory updated and ensuring their implementation;
  • Ongoing identification, testing documentation, and mitigation of all the risks by means of assessing their likelihood and impact;
  • Preparing risk analysis (market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, ESG risk…)
  • Preparing risk reporting to be submitted accurately and timely to the Governing bodies and the regulator
  • Investment Risk Management oversight for AIFs (PE, PD, FoF, RE, INFRA, VC, Hedge funds …).
  • Supporting auditors with requested risk support documentation.
  • Investment compliance monitoring (regulatory and fund specific investment restrictions)
