Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Operations Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Expansion arm of the Operations function to develop new automated warehousing sites and technologies. You will have a key role in engaging internal stakeholders across multiple functions while also working closely with external parties to design, evaluate, and deliver large capital initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess the right toolset to mentor and manage a small team of specialists while also influencing decision-making throughout all levels of the organisation.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Lead, mentor and develop the expansion team, including process design and project management aspects of expansion delivery.
  • Work closely with key external stakeholders to help deliver our new automated distribution facility in Melbourne.
  • Lead process design efforts and work closely with the broader Operations Excellence and internal Tech teams to ensure comprehensive delivery of the respective operational solutions.
  • Model scenarios to understand Operational impacts associated with changes to site design and alternate technologies.
  • Evaluate new logistics technologies as they emerge within the market and identify opportunities for improvement for future expansion initiatives.
