Description:

We are representing a leading commodities trading firm for an Operations Analyst position based in the regional HQ, Singapore.
Responsible for derivative trade confirmations, it is a new headcount to support the growing APAC business.

You should have at least 3 years of experience:

  • in APAC power or crude oil / refined petroleum derivatives
  • in an Operations / Settlements / Confirmation / Back-Office role
  • from a Trading House, Brokerage, Hedgefund, or Exchange

More senior candidates can be considered for progression to a team lead role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance related discipline

Responsibilities:

  • Daily confirmation activities including Trade Checks between the confirmation or recap and the trading systems, as well as matching of confirmations from counterparties against internal systems
  • Implementation of new markets and products including appropriate process documentation according to audit and compliance standards
  • Work closely with internal and IT teams to enable the automation of confirmations as much as possible
