Responsibilities:
- Provide technical infrastructure, design and process engineering support to the operation. This includes process modelling, compressor evaluations, valve sizing, and an understanding of applicable codes & standards (e.g.: ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, CSA Z662, API)
- Managing day-to-day plant activities, providing clear communication and transfer of duties to the area Operations or Facilities Engineer
- Work with field leadership on shutdown scoping, planning and execution
- Maintain regulatory compliance at all facilities. This includes but is not limited to: GHG reporting, monthly reporting, EPEA, noise, dehy emissions, LEMS, CEPA, facility licensing, etc
- Be accountable for project technical scoping, design, cost estimating, and economic analysis for the facilities under their responsibility. Prepare and present project justification material to an integrated team to ensure alignment of opportunity with corporate initiatives and budgets
- Work with other teams to review monthly plant business performance, challenge anomalies, identify and implement opportunities to optimize area value, and promote and evaluate implementation of new technologies
- Provide mentorship to other staff and foster a collaborative environment with field personnel to develop and implement engineered solutions to maintenance and operational issues
