Primary Tasks and responsibilities
Due to a temporary structural shortage of operational management for our 20 medical practices, our client is looking for an experienced people manager, who will manage one of their own regions, can provide guidance for the current operational managers of other regions and can relieve the operational director.
The multidisciplinary teams in their medical practices assess the incapacity for work and assist members in their socioprofessional reintegration, and are made up of advising practitioners, paramedical counsellors, return to work coordinators and medical administrative assistants. They function in a dual organisational structure with medical and operational guidance.
You are responsible for managing the employees from the medical practices in the Ganshoren/Halle/Leuven region. Your fellow operational managers from other regions will help you with process management.
You are responsible for coaching the 4 other regional operational managers on HR-related and organisational matters, and for following up the tasks which have been agreed upon by the regional managers.
You report to the operational director.
You ensure the implementation of the client’s vision regarding the management of incapacity for work in accordance with the NIHDI regulations and with an eye for providing quality service to our members.
You provide strategic and tactical recommendations to the medical and operational direction, based on the analyses and findings in the field
You facilitate the operational implementation of IT modifications that impact the functioning of the medical practices.
You are responsible for managing the budget and achieving the operational objectives of the medical practices (in consultation with the operational director).
You work closely with the other Business Unit Managers of the Operations & Expertise department (section Incapacity for work and benefits) and the medical direction.
You have an ambassadorial role to facilitate cooperation between the health insurance funds, medical practices and central services of the client.
You participate in internal representations defending the client’s interests.
Technical profile requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in people and process management in an evolving work environment.
You have a master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
You have a lot of affinity with IT and business projects.
Professional experience in the medical sector or the health insurance funds sector is a plus.
You have the intellectual capacity to understand and apply the broad outlines of regulations and procedures in the medical assessment of incapacity for work and reintegration journeys.
