Position Title: Senior Operator
Broad Band: M07: Semi - professional
Talent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)

SKILLS:

• Acute safety awareness and attitude
• Sound analytical and problem solving skills
• General understanding of the value chain
• Sound knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Proficient knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods
• Sound knowledge of machines, tools and equipment, including their designs, uses, repair, and first line maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of policies, rules, processes and procedures
• Competent in using applicable industrial control software and/or systems
• Highly competent in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions
• Advanced understanding of specific section’s processes and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of Ma’aden’s safety codes, regulations, rules and procedures
• Controlling operations of equipment and/or systems
• Critical thinking
• Sound time management and organising skills
• Up-to-date compliance training
• Ability to follow instructions and rule
• Full physical mobility, including ability to work at heights or confined spaces
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Sound knowledge of mathematical principles
• Teamwork
• Ability to handle pressure and setbacks
• Qualified first-aid provider
