WHAT YOU’LL DO

• a dedicated focus on improving data security, maintaining database integrity, and contributing to geospatial projects.
• Own the development and management of application databases using Oracle technologies, ensuring efficient security and performance.
• Establish robust Oracle database security measures, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate secure data practices into business processes.
• Analyze data and deliver actionable insights to support business strategies.
• Manage Oracle DBA tasks, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, designs, and procedures.
• Keep tabs on emerging Oracle database management trends, technologies, and standard methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and support.
• Enhance data storage and retrieval processes to improve system efficiency.
• Ensure alignment to data governance and security policies across all database systems.
• Contribute in project planning and review meetings to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Minimum 10 years of proven expertise with Oracle DBA Security Administration and Oracle Admin.
• Solid grasp of geospatial concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate optimally within an inclusive work setting.
• Good communication and social skills.
• Familiarity with GIS software and tools is an added bonus.
