REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the development and maintenance of PL/SQL packages making full use of the latest features in PL/SQL, with specific emphasis on advance PL/SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms/Reports, including the creation/modification of forms and also the management of forms server configuration files and the installation of forms.
- Experience in skills transfer in relation to Oracle forms, reports,
- and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Aix & Windows Operating Systems.
- Testing business solutions prior to release and deployment.
- Providing user support to Business Units on systems deployed.
- Deployment of software into UAT and release for production systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of package code / stored procedures on an ongoing basis to support the IT Systems Development team.
- Troubleshooting and resolving database problems, including database tuning.
- Advising developers on best practise and optimal approach in the use of PL/SQL
- Identifying any shortcomings of database systems and recommending improvements.
- Completing assigned tasks related to phases of development lifecycle of applications within scope and timeframe requirements
- Developing customised reports
- Assisting in Oracle Upgrade and Migration Project
