JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR FINANCIAL SYSTEM ANALYST

Mood Media is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to be responsible for the overall technology needs of the Accounting and Finance function on a day-to-day basis though the support of the ERP and other systems. They will work directly with all levels of the Finance department, sub-contractors and Business Systems Team as a liaison. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will provide technical expertise related to various applications including Oracle E-Business Suite applications and SQL. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be the Finance department liaison to develop and implement new systems or enhance existing systems to resolve problems or improve accounting/financial processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with the Finance department to support the day to day procedures in Oracle and other related applications
  • Will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing current modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, eBusiness Tax, Intercompany Setups, VAT Tax
  • Develop new, and/or modify existing, customizations, conversions and interfaces as the Finance department requires
  • Troubleshoot system and process issues as reported by the Finance team
  • Lead in the development and implementation of new systems or enhance existing systems to resolve issues
  • Improve accounting/financial processes and internal controls for IT related items
  • Manage and maintain finance modules in the E-Business Suite test environments
  • Establish and maintain strong and consistent business partnerships across multiple business lines
