The IG IT OT Team provides network, communications, and hosting infrastructure to Integrated Gas, forming a highly resilient and available environment that supports remote control, visibility, and operations to critical OT functions. The team connects critical applications and systems for key stakeholders, delivering end-to-end technical solutions to allow these to operate critical infrastructure in remote facilities in support of IG’s strategic and operational goals.
In this role you will design, undertake implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing support for Origin Energy’s critical Integrated Gas (IG) Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, with a particular focus on Network infrastructure.

The role in more detail:

• Provide specialist OT network expertise with a strong understanding of OT environments and concepts
• Maintain a stable 24x7 Gas production network environment for IG Operational Technology
• Lead design and architecture decisions for network connectivity to OT systems and platforms
• Implementation of network infrastructure using vendor-agnostic principles, with experience using vendor products such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Ceragon, ADVA, RAJANT and AVARA within ongoing operations, including refresh, replacement and upgrade of components
• Understand cyber security policies and build and implement platforms based on these policy governance / control frameworks
• Review, test and roadmap new technologies for OT Network infrastructure and processes

In this role you will be required to work in the field in order to support with commissioning and integration works.
