Responsibilities:

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Reports to the “IFP Packaging Development Leader” and will be responsible for the development & oversight of complex packaging Innovation, Sustainability & Quality Improvement programs throughout the IFP business.
  • Will work with other senior IFP Innovation, Growth, ABU ( accountable business unit) & Product Supply colleagues in early-stage project development to ensure packaging technical needs are embedded and met.
  • Will help form strategic plans to deliver IFP business objectives and will serve as a strategic champion, within IFP Packaging Development, to embed the principles, the ways of working and the plans that will ensure we deliver for the business.
  • Will work closely with the IFP Packaging Technology team, and other Packaging Developers, to ensure that developments are proven to be technically ready prior to implementation in manufacturing and market.
  • This role will work across the IFP network and will interact with multiple diverse cultures & teams

  • Science, engineering or packaging qualifications to bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Preferably 10 years experience in technical packaging development roles.
  • Extensive experience of all packaging materials and development processes.
  • Proven experience of complex packaging innovation development including machinery development & qualification.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact will colleagues at all levels of the business.
  • In depth understanding of the packaging sustainability landscape and associated challenges.
  • Project Management experience is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Spanish or an East Asian second language is desirable
