Responsibilities:
- New Packaging solutions developed from ideation through to implementation and launch.
- At ideation phase, work with commercial business leaders to explore the consumer and customer insights and translate into packaging design specifications.
- Develop packaging solutions that are technically feasible in the supply chain network.
- Explore appropriate technology options available for innovative packaging designs.
- Rapid prototyping of product design options to assess customer and consumer acceptance using appropriate research methods.
- Develop experimental trial plans to test and validate new packaging designs and specifications.
- Support new packaging equipment scoping, implementation, factory acceptance testing and initial production runs.
- Development of the Packaging Sustainability Plan aligned with SPC’s Corporate Sustainability Plan and national packaging recycling targets.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to identify packaging cost savings opportunities.
- Continually drive own personal development through application of robust development plan.
