Job Description
General Summary:
We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our business transactions team. The Senior Paralegal will provide advanced legal and contracting support to the Director, Corporate Legal for assigned commercial, general, administrative, or clinical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of contracts (template and non-standard agreements), including software and technology license agreements, service agreements, consulting agreements, data privacy addendums, clinical, and other related agreements.
  • Interpret existing contracts and advise on contract interpretation issues, as needed.
  • Coordinate input from relevant internal stakeholders (e.g., IP legal, accounting).
  • Support department-wide initiatives, including policy development, template standardization and adoption of contract-related technologies.
  • Train and guide business teams on the use of legal templates, issues and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with internal stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or paralegal certification.
  • Typically requires 6 years of corporate paralegal experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across functions and geographies effectively.
  • Experience with or in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and/or experience with software (including SaaS) and related technology agreements a plus.

Pay Range:
$88,000 - $132,000
Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
